AZ - Day 6 - CBD

Today we had to get up early for the meeting with the Time share people...where they try and sell us another time share.  We agreed to do this as we received 100$ on a credit card (and a photo book to create).  Mark our agent was really nice and because we talked too much as usual we ended up spending well over the 90 minutes they promised.  They knew we were not really interested as we already had one property and at our age (!) we didn't really want to take on another.

Once we escaped from there it was time to think about lunch as we had not had breakfast (apart from a few chunks of melon).  I picked a Denys as we had eaten there on previous holidays and we were not disappointed.  I had a 3 scrambled egg breakfast with sausage and bacon and coffee... very nice and not too filling.

After that we had to visit the largest Harley Davidson dealer in the US/world.... it was huge. There were film shows, tattoo parlour, clothing of all sorts for men and women plus a few bikes!

Finally we escaped from there... did a quick Walmart shop mainly to get a rucksack and then back to the apartment to change for a visit to the Butterfly Park which we had passed on numerous occasions on the 101.  It was so well worth the visit.   I cannot describe the feeling of having these beautiful creatures flying around you, landing on you.....you could even feel the breeze as they flew close by your head.  It was like lots of tissue paper!!  Here are some photos:

After that we came back to the apartment, had a swim in the 'quiet' pool before, dinner watching Star Trek film!!
